Privacy Policy
Boothlyo ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our website and services (collectively, the "Service").
Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you register, we collect details such as your name, email address, organization name, and credentials necessary to create and secure your account.
- Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, browser type, and timestamps of activity.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and understand aggregate usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
- Content you provide. Information you upload or enter into the Service — such as events, tasks, inventory records, files, and communications with support — is stored to provide the Service to you.
How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Authenticate users, enforce our terms, and protect against fraud or abuse;
- Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support responses;
- Analyze usage in aggregate to improve product performance and user experience;
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
Data storage and security
We host application data with Supabase, which provides managed infrastructure including authentication and database services. Data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS. We implement access controls and follow reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Payment processing
Subscription and payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Stripe processes payments in accordance with its own privacy policy and security certifications. We may receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status and partial card identifiers) to manage your account.
Cookies and analytics
We may use first-party and third-party cookies for essential operation of the Service and, where enabled, for analytics to understand how the product is used in aggregate. You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser or any cookie banner we provide, though some features may not function properly without essential cookies.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating the Service (such as hosting, email delivery, and payment processing), subject to confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Boothlyo, our users, or others.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain records as required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes, or as necessary to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Request portability of certain data in a machine-readable format;
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@boothlyo.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
International transfers
If you access the Service from outside the country where our infrastructure is located, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards where required.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
